Annual Build Your Own UFO Convention

Annual Build Your Own UFO Convention

What topics and speakers would interest you?

Location: Tentatively, the Tabernas Desert (Spain)… pending extraterrestrial approval.

We will definitely hold the convention at a remote campsite with no light pollution.

If you have a telescope, binoculars, an SDR, thermal camera, Geiger counter, magnetometer, or any other gadget that might detect something… unusual, bring it. You never know what might show up.

Scientific curiosity is encouraged. Panic is discouraged.

All aliens are invited to demonstrate their flight abilities. No registration required.

Between the talks, everyone is encouraged to build or demonstrate their newest model.

We’ll have an unofficial award for the best unidentified flying object.

Any unexplained observations must be confirmed by at least three independent sensors before anyone is allowed to call them aliens.

If you can’t identify it… congratulations, it’s technically a UFO.

Night sky observations will continue until everyone agrees they’re too tired to distinguish satellites from extraterrestrials.

Bonus points if your equipment occasionally detects something that shouldn’t be there.

If enough people say “I’d come.”… we might accidentally have to organize it.

So tell me:

• What talk would you volunteer to give?
• What would be your first experiment after sunset?
• Which gadget would you refuse to leave at home?
